Is this an app, or a spreadsheet?

It's a spreadsheet — on purpose. ContractorOS is a single, fully built workbook (ContractorOS.xlsx) plus short setup guides. There's no app to install and no account to create. That's the point: it's the tool you already know, turned into a real system.

Do I need Microsoft Excel?

No. If you have Excel, just open the file. If you don't, upload the .xlsx to Google Sheets (File → Import, or open it with Google Sheets) to run it free — it works in any browser and on your phone.

Does it really work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the ContractorOS.xlsx to Google Sheets — in Drive, File → Import, or right-click the file → Open with → Google Sheets — and it runs free in your browser, with the same data model and formulas. The workbook is built with Sheets-compatible formulas, so the math keeps working. Same logic, your choice of Excel or Sheets.

Is there a subscription or any ongoing cost?

No. You pay once and it's yours — no per-user fees, nothing to renew. It costs nothing to run: open it in Excel you already have, or run it free in Google Sheets with your own Google account.

Will it win me more jobs or make me more money?

Is there a Notion version?

Not at launch, and we won't pretend there is. What you buy today is the spreadsheet edition (Excel + Google Sheets), complete on its own. A Notion edition is in development; if it ships, buyers get it as a free update — but it isn't part of this purchase.
